• A fost finalizata achizitia  a doua scannere de carte semi-automate și a fost pus la punct protocolul de scanare, managementul colectiilor de imagini document și al metadatelor.
  • A fost selectat un set de date reprezentativ (peste 100.000 de imagini document) pentru scanare, cu accent pe diversitatea documentelor, caracteristicile de culoare și layout. A fost rulat un test de calibrare automată a procesului de retroconversie, pentru a găsii cele mai bune soluții și seturi de parametri.
  • A fost construit un prototip inițial al sistemului de retroconversie, incluzând toate funcțiile de bază și asigurand exportul în documente în format PDF, păstrând aspectul original și conservând meta-informațiile.
  • Au fost elaborate noi articole științifice, ajungându-se la un total de 14, din care 5 ISI, pe primele 2 etape.
  • Prototip inițial al sistemului de retroconversie, functional (executabil, instructiuni/ descriere);
  • Toate articolele realizate până în prezent;
